I have been following a little show on Youtube called Need to Know with Ross Coulthart and Bryce Zabel for a few months now. Initially, I did not think much of it. I had never heard of either of them and I was recommended it by the Algorithm because I watched a UFO documentary from Channel 7 news on YouTube that Ross Coulthart did on UFOs. I enjoyed their banter, and they seemed very informed on the subject. Full disclosure though, I have not been interested in UFO’s for most of my life. I openly mocked Ancient Aliens and I tried to watch UFO Hunters back in the day, but it could not hold my interest. It seemed too far-fetched and they seemed to see aliens everywhere. I only started to get interested in the subject when I heard Commander David Fravor on the Joe Rogan podcast. After that, I started looking into it. That search ultimately leads me to the Need to Know YouTube program and podcast.
Their show does not have a large production budget like Rogan or Chris Williamson (Although both of them are polished and professional as they come). Most of the time it is just them talking to each other from their webcams. Regardless of production, to me of all the podcasts about UFOs they seem to be the most credible and balanced. Ross is an amazing journalist and Zabel has a very interesting background in the film industry. I did not miss an episode. That brings us to the UFO hearing. I had been hearing Ross talk about a whistleblower who was going to come out for a while on the show. Honestly, I believed Ross based on his own credibility, but I was doubtful anything would come of it. If they did come out, I was skeptical that it would be much more than “I saw a UFO while alone on a training mission” or something.
Then they announced their interview with Grusch and the article in the Debrief. I watched and read both. I was astounded. Was this for real? Fravor was an amazing eyewitness, but he just saw something. He had no inside knowledge. Grusch was claiming a reverse engineering program and alien bodies. The more research I did on Grusch, the more legit he became. Of course, it is one thing to say something in an interview like Bob Lazar, but it is quite another to say something under oath. This is where Lazar and Grusch differ. There are many holes in Bob’s background and some of his claims don’t add up. He could be telling the truth, but he also could be lying. If he went under oath, that would clear up a lot. I don’t just think he would do it.
That is why what Grusch did was so astounding. He and the two other pilots made their claims under oath before Congress. That is a big deal, if they are lying, they can go to jail. This is where the keyboard warriors frustrate me when they say he is making this up. He literally could go to prison if he is lying. Plus, his reputation is ruined. He has a lot to lose. What were his claims though?
We have a reverse engineering program that has spanned decades studying numerous UFOs or UAPs.
We have recovered non-human bodies from those said craft.
People have been hurt, harassed, and even possibly killed for talking about this subject or looking into it (He has never definitively said anyone was killed, but it could be interpreted as possible).
We are definitively not alone. These entities may not be extraterrestrial, but they could be interdimensional or have been here all the time with us undiscovered.
The American populous has been fooled by an elaborate disinformation campaign spanning decades.
Now those are some bold claims. I mean those claims are mind-blowing. Is this to be believed? I am not sure, but lets look at some of the rebuttals I have heard online and see if they hold up.
If the government says there is UAP’s are real then they definitely are not. This is a psyop to distract us from Hunter Biden’s corruption or Trump’s trial.
From what I understand this subject has been forced out not let out intentionally. It started with Luis Elizondo leaking the Navy videos to the press and NYT story in 2017. From there David Fravor and his wingman Alex Deitrich have been interviewed by numerous podcasts as well as 60 minutes. Since then, other pilots have come out with other similar stories. That leads us to the creation of the AARO office and whistleblower protections by Congress. From there we have Grusch. He has repeatedly stated that he has experienced reprisals for trying to come out with this information. To the point where he filed a report with the Inspector General (Who found his complaint “credible and urgent”). This does not seem to be information some in the Pentagon or in some secret program want out. Now that may not be because what Grusch is saying is true, but they may just not want the headache or Congress prying around in the black budget programs. Most people who, have the opinion of this being a psyop are just not well informed on the history of this or are afraid to hold an opinion that would back Grusch and look dumb. My point is, that Grusch is not speaking for the government. Maybe some in the Pentagon want the information out, but my bet is most just roll their eyes. Those people in the black budget or secret organization that are involved (if they exist) are working overtime to shut this down. It is impossible to say what is really going on but I don’t think this is an elaborate psyop given what I understand about how this has all come out.
People such as Willam Shatner have made arguments that this is all ridiculous because of the behavior UFOs playing “Peek a Boo” with us. It just makes no sense.
I can be sympathetic to this. I know for a fact Shatner is somewhat informed. He just does not believe and that is his right. The behavior of these craft is strange. Why do they watch us then fly away at impossible speeds? Why are they flying around our military installations and over our homes? Why do they not land and communicate with us? These questions have no answers. Some people in the shadow program may know, but we don’t at least for now. The reality is, that how can we really understand their intentions? Just because we don’t understand what they are doing does not mean it is ridiculous and untrue. Does behavior have to make sense for it to be true? I lived overseas for a long time in a very different culture. Much of what they did made no sense to me. I did not have the opinion that well these people are just not real people and so I must be in a simulation or something. They were real and it took a while and some work to understand them. Eventually, I did, but it was hard. And they were human! How different would an alien race be? I am betting a lot different.
People like Mick West have said there is nothing to this. Grusch has said nothing different than UFO nuts have been saying for years or you could read from their literature or a Science Fiction novel. He has not seen anything. It is all hearsay.
He has a fair point. None of this information is new. You can read Phillip Corso’s “The Day After Roswell” and learn a lot about the supposed reverse engineering program and how it got started. He is right. Grusch has not seen anything. My counterpoint is that, just because something is “known” does not mean it is not true. Maybe some of what the UFO nerds found out is correct. Take Steven Greer for example. I personally, think he is a victim of both misinformation and true information. He also seems to have a massive ego. However, I don’t think he is lying all of the time. I just think about 25 percent of what he says is true. Let’s say that is true of all the UFO investigators. A small percentage is true, a larger percentage is misinformation, and another percentage is fabrication. Maybe all Grusch is telling us mostly falls into that true 25 percentile. I would not even be surprised that some of Grusch’s information is not accurate. Maybe only 75 percent of what Grusch is saying is accurate. My argument is, should Congress not at least follow up on that? People like, Mr. West almost imply that they should not look into it. I just don’t understand that. If Grusch is wrong oh well, but if he is right the implications are massive. Another thing people like West also fail to understand is that most Science Fiction is straight from UFO researchers. Steven Spielberg for example based the premise of Close Encounters on the research J. Allen Hynek from Project Blue Book. Hynek even had a cameo in the movie. Of course, there would be similarities given that being the case. That does not negate that a percentage of the information may be true. It is a flawed argument in my view. Where people like Mr. West have a point is there that is no proof. True…. for now, but let’s let Congress look into it and see if there is. Grusch can give them details in a closed session. I mean if investigators never followed up on any claims of crime, we would never solve anything. Let’s let Congress look into it. Why all the pushback for inquiry?
Another thing, I have heard is “Ok so there are aliens, who cares they don’t pay my bills. I have bigger problems”
This makes me laugh because it is my wife’s argument. I get it. A lot of people just don’t care. It does not really make a difference to them because it most likely will not affect them. They just think that politics or the Kardashians are more important. I think they just do not understand the implications. If scientists can get access to and understand these craft it could open up new avenues of technology, possibly even solve the climate crisis. Additionally, what could a civilization 10,000 years ahead of us tell us about the universe and our own world? Of course, those things are far off to most people. Other people are just surviving. Young people are destitute and are still living with their parents. Others cannot find work or have dead-end jobs. Aliens are not going to come down and give them a good job or a house. These people have my sympathy and I agree with them. Ultimately how much time should we spend on this? Probably not a great deal unless you are Ross Coulthart and it is your job to investigate this. The rest of us should focus on our family, being good employees, and growing our careers. If we are religious, that should make more of a priority too. We only have so much time. For me this is recreation, and it will stay that way. That does not mean, I won’t watch the next Congressional Hearing though, or catch the latest episode of Need to Know.
I still think that what Grusch said is intriguing. I don’t think this is a massive government cover-up. What I mean by that is, I don’t think it spans the entire government. The government is huge, and most who work there are amazing honest people. The people involved are a small powerful few if they exist at all. Many who are involved may not even know that what they are reverse engineering is alien technology. In the end, I am not sure if any of this is true. In some ways, I hope it is not true. Some of the implications worry me. I just want Congress to look into this fervently and honestly. It may be nothing but a rumor, but if they don’t press and look into this with vigor, they will never find anything. It is probably too compartmentalized and well-hidden. Some in Congress care more about their reputation than the truth. Others are just scared. I can understand that. I just hope there are a few honest brave men and women in Congress who will try to find out. Grusch says he can give them the road map. Now they just have to follow it.
